FAQs

What is glue?

An adhesive, also known colloquially as "adhesive", is characterized by the fact that it creates a reliable connection between the same and different materials. The decisive factors here are the adhesive (adhesive force between the joining material and the adhesive) and cohesive forces (bonding forces within the adhesive), which should be balanced as far as possible. In the case of adhesives, a basic distinction is made between chemically curing and physically setting. In addition to the purely mechanical function, the adhesive bond can also assume physical functions (sealing, electrical insulation, ...). Due to the versatility of the areas of application and the simple handling, gluing is a very popular process in industry and in the home.

What is sticking

Gluing is a joining process for reliably connecting the same and different materials. In contrast to other joining methods, it does not weaken the mechanical properties of the joining materials used. In addition to the purely mechanical function, the adhesive bond can also assume physical functions (sealing, electrical insulation, ...). Due to the versatility of the areas of application and the simple handling, gluing is a very popular process in industry and in the home. It is important for a good adhesive bond that the adhesive (adhesive force between joining material and adhesive) and cohesive forces (bonding forces within the adhesive) are in balance.

MS Polymer vs Epoxy

All polymer adhesives have a certain flexibility and do not harden hard. The epoxy adhesives harden and are therefore intended for rigid bonds

Certification

All products are fully certified through the completion of intensive testing and testing procedures
